Network Channel 4 is set to interview couples as soon as they have had sex on a
live TV show it has been announced.
According to
reports the couples are going to be questioned by Mariella Frostrup joining her
will also be a board of experts this will be moments after they have emerged
from a sound proofed box in the middle of the studio.
In addition,
Channel 4 said that they will be no intercourse or nudity would be seen in the
programme.
The show is part
of a new “real sex” season; it will also include a documentary while also
investigating the effect of pornography on British teenagers.
Sex box, said Channel 4’s David
Glover commissioning editor that “a
rather mischievous, fun idea that actually allows sex to be completely private
but the conversation to be truthful and immediate”.
According to
reports the three couples that are expected to participate on the show one is an
engaged couple who are childhood sweethearts, the second couple they are in
their 20’s and lastly a gay couple in their 30’s.
Tracey Cox who
is a relationship expert will also be among the panel speaking to the partners
it is expected to be broadcast on7th October.
Frostrup has
said “The sex we see on screen,
in magazines and increasingly online bears little relation to the real
experiences of real people”.
“I’m delighted to take part in this attempt to have a
frank conversation about an essential element of all our lives”
According to reports and Channel 4’s head of factual
programme, Ralph Lee has said that the movement for the Real Sex Season is a
reply to “The explosion of online pornography”.
Lee said, “Sex Box absolutely Intends to be an open and
adult conversation about sex” while adding on “Something we feel is currently
being overlooked by mainstream programming”.
The campaign for real sex season starts on 30th
September at 22:00 BST with Porno on the Brain.
