Elikem and Pokello have teamed up to launch a sub brand under Elikem Kumordzi
The Tailor brand.
Pokello Nare publicized
her Queen of Swagger range of clothing at the expression of Accra fashion extravaganza
Citi FM at the LA Palm Hotel on Saturday.
Her designs,
which imitate a lot of her personal style were made from GTP fabrics as well as
her original fabrics from her native country in Zimbabwe.
Models swayed
shoes from Pokello’s famous high-end boutique. Elikem also showed his designs
during event.
Expression of
Accra at the LA Palm Royal Beach Hotel, held under the theme creative explosion,
aspires to showcase talents in the fashion and creative industry as well as
help further advance brands through the exhibition of their unique creative
designs.
Other designers
also showcased their creative and trendy ways to rock GTP textiles. The runaway
highlighted designs from AfroMod Trends, Sa4a Designs, A Meyo, Horsemen Shoes
and Maksi clothing amongst others.
The fashion
night also included performances from highlife singer K.K. Fosu, poet Nana
Asaase and Comedian Bash from Nigeria.
Guests included
former first lady Nana Konadu Agemang Rawlings who the hit stage to dance with
KK.Fosu during his performance.
