D’BANJ WORKING ON A SOUNDTRACK ALBUM FOR HOLLYWOOD FILM

Nigerian superstar D’Banj is the executive producer of the soundtrack album for Half of a yellow sun. D’Banj is also working together with Yewande Sadiku and Onyeka Onwenu who played the astounding role of Chiewetel Ejifor’s mother in the Hollywood film Half of a Yellow Sun.

The award-winning musician is set to release the soundtrack and music video off the album entitled Bother You. The film tells a story about two sisters, Olanna and Kainene during the Baijan war and the effects of the conflicts on the lives and the lives of everyone around them.

The film premiered last year at the Toronto Film Festival. It features Oscar Nominee and British Independent Film award winner Chiwetel Ejifor, Actress Genevieve Nnaji, Thandie Newton, Nigerian Legendary musician and producer Onyeka Onwenu, Hakeen Kae- Kazim and OC Ukeje. The anticipate film is scheduled to be released worldwide in March
