According to her
lawyer Gerald Shargel, Distraught actress Amanda Bynes won’t be seen in court
anytime soon. Bynes is currently in a psychiatric treatment at the
UCLA medical center in California and it’s been said that she is mostly like
going to be there until 2015.
While also
appearing in a New York City Court, to settle his client’s case for a bong
throwing incident which occurred earlier this year. Byne’s lawyer told the
judge that his client was not well enough to stand trial for the reckless
endangerment and marijuana possession charges, filed against her for the next
18 months.
Nevertheless,
Amanda’s lawyer is working in getting her charges all dropped. In the one
condition that the Nickelodeon Star commits to staying out of trouble.
Earlier this
year, Amanda threw a bong out of the window after cops entered her Manhattan
apartment. While responding to the call by building managers who reported
that the “Easy A” Star was smoking pot.
In addition it
was only after one of a string of incidents that had occurred over a period of
several months where the TV and Film Actress displayed her worsening erratic
behavior for which she was eventually put under long term psychiatric and legal
conservatorship.
Lately, her
mother Lynn had already withdrawn her petition for permanent conservatorship
since her daughter was already under involuntary psychiatric hold and
conservatorship of her doctors. Nevertheless, Lynn still holds the power to
make medical and financial decisions on behalf of her daughter.
