AND FAMILY AND IS VERY HAPPY’ WITH HER ENGAGEMENT
Former
Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland is engaged to her manager Tim Witherspoon
according to a source who is reportedly close to the situation confirms the
news “She has been showing [the ring]
off to friends and family and is very happy. She wants to…enjoy [it]
and celebrate for a bit longer”. The source told US Weekly.
Earlier this
month, Rowland generated engagement gossip after she recently displayed a
diamond ring in an instagram video to wish Patrick “J Que” Smith’s kid a happy
birthday. During that time, Witherspoon
was allegedly proposing to the former Destiny’s Child member a week before and
she said yes.
Nevertheless,
Rowland was previously engaged to Former NFL star Roy Williams. The couple,
however ended their engagement in 2005 just two months before the planned
wedding. “ I was too young for marriage. But sometimes you fall down and you
learn from it,” the judge of “The X Factor (US)” later said of the break-up
in an interview with Cosmopolitan U.K.
Last month, the
Grammy winning singer said that she was not sure if she was ready to start a
family because she was “ too busy with the career” she later told E!
News adding on “I don’t know. I do want kids, I do want to be
married”.
