Nicki Minaj and DJ Khalid 'situation'. Should Nicki say yes?

He insists that he is genuinely serious about all of this, pointing out that he has worked hard to get her the right ring, which just happens to be a 10 karat radiant cut diamond ring worth $500,000! That is a nice bit of ice!

 

In his proposal, DJ Khalid said, “I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine.”
Furthermore, DJ Khaled points out that they  have a lot in common. He said, “We got the same symptoms, we’re both suffering from success.” After all, like Nicki he is so successful in his own career, wit six albums to date and is about to drop his seventh on Sept. 24. Both are extremely respected in the hip-hop/rap community,very compatible!

 Khaled has been in love with her for a long time. He admits that he has had his eye on her since the two filmed the “Take It To The Head” video in 2012. So these are not just emotions that have suddenly overcome him!He said, “I would have proposed to you last year, at the ‘Take It To The Head’ video, but you know, things got better for me.”

He held up that gorgeous ring to the video camera in hopes of tempting her. Khaled is mature, he is 37-years-old, and he seems like a confident and sincere guy. He is not a young boy toy  who is falling over himself to be  a celebrity’s husband — he has his own highly developed sense of self.

To finish his video, Khaled says it’s “your move.”
