SOUTH AFRICA: KWAITO STAR BAIL APPLICATION CONTINUES




The bail application for the Kwaito star Bricks will resume in the Roodeport Magistrate’s court On Wednesday. Brick’s bail application was delayed on Tuesday.

The rapper’s real name is Sipho Charles Ndolvu, has been in custody since November 1st for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in March.

So far, Bricks has denied raping the girl and has specified that he plans on pleading not guilty.

On Tuesday, Warrant Officer Joel Ngobeni stated that Ndolvu was a violent man and a flight risk.

Ngobeni took over the case on Tuesday after the investigating officer fell ill.

The officer said that he had interviewed the girl and Ndolvu’s wife before appearing in court.

The court heard that Ndlovu was arrested and fined R1000 for drup possession in 2007
