LIL WAYNE'S ALBUM THE CARTER V TO BE RELEASED IN MAY THIS YEAR

The exciting news was revealed in New Orleans on Friday (Valentine's day) by Drake. The rapper brought out Wayne on stage during a show at the House of Blues venue.

In that moment the Canadian star then revealed the news to the audience that Wayne's fifth instalment would be released on May 15th.

Lil Wayne's last album the 'Carter' series, 'The Carter IV', was released in 2011 and entered number eight in the official UK album chart.

As of late, it was confirmed that Wayne was going to be featured on the forth coming album Young Money  Compilation alongside Drake, Nicki Minaj and Christina Millian.
