Motions and TRESemme have given designers who are going to be showcasing under its banner a task to come up with various interpretations for the hairstyles celebrities are going to wear.

Celebrities walking the ramp in evening wear by Gert-Johan Coetzee and Clive Rundle include singer ChianoSky, actress Hayley Owen, broadcasters Jay Ainstey, Minnie Dlamini, Dineo Moeketsi, Lalla Hirayama, Tansey Coetzee, Lorna Maseko and DJ Poppy Ntshongwana.

This year trend stylists Nthato Mashishi for Motions and Matthew Mansoor for TRESemmé and leading South African designers such as Black Coffee, Suzaan Heyns, Stoned Cherrie and Rubicon will launch their collaborative interpretations of the key summer 2013 fashion and hair looks in a line-up of top models and some of the country’s hottest leading ladies and entertainers.

Motions’ Sphe Mjadu said: “Hair and fashion are integrally linked. Style watchers scrutinise the season’s catwalks not only for the new garment silhouettes but equally to spot the on-trend directions for the coming season’s hair and make-up looks. Both brands are aimed at style-savvy consumers and it was therefore a natural fit to associate them with the country’s definitive local fashion platform.”
