According to
reports, Vanity Fair’s newest launch for 2013, musician couple Jay-Z and
Beyoncé are the most important powers to be in the U.S.
Mr. and Mrs
Carter were last ranked number eight, although due to their busy year it drove
them to their number one spot.
According to
reports, what helped them reach the top honor was Jay-z’s new album, Magna
Carter Holy Grail, the album went straight to platinum, the album was release
before it hit in the shelves, likewise this was thanks to a strategically
planned pre-order release.
But Beyoncé did
also her part by performing at a super bowl halftime performance, selling out
her world tour and also releasing her documenting about her life on HBO.
