STEVEN SPIELBERG BEATS OPRAH WINFREY IN FORBES LIST OF MOST INFLUENTIAL CELEBRITIES


Winfrey, who topped last year's list of most influential celebrities, is placed second in this year's list while the 'Lincoln' director is at number one 

Forbes has announced this year’s list of most influential celebrities. Oprah Winfrey, who topped the list last year, comes second this year.

Steven Spielberg comes in first who last year was in second place. The ‘Lincoln’ director scores 47 influence, which means 47% of U.S population, believes he is influential. According to the magazine, Winfrey’s rank slipped to number two because she worked more behind the scene. 

In addition, filmmakers take a spot on the list. George Lucas gains a third spot with 43% of influential rating, while in fourth spot is taken by Ron Howard who scores 41% of influential rating.  While Martin Scorsese makes it to the fifth spot with 40% of influential rating.
